Grounding

Get to know the foundations for Brazilian Zouk, dive into posture and aligment and start to understand the pedagogy of Brazilian Zouk guidance.
Explore both the old School and the modern Brazilian Zouk. Integrate functional movement principles with a clear way of connecting and teaching.

Integration

Put your knowledge into motion. Our students practice teaching every single day of the course. Dive deeper into teaching methodology, explore the art of sequencing, explore mindfulness
techniques, Mindset, and uncover the Brazilian Zouk History, how everything unfolded from old school moves to modern Brazilian Zouk.

Sharing

Get clear on all you’ve learned and understand the world of Brazilian Zouk in today’s reality, and how to put your new certification into practice.

Speak powerfully to large groups and feel confident with all you’ve learned.

Layssa Valentina

Our Head teacher, creator of Zouk Soul Flow method, she will explore methodology for teaching, depth into details of Foundations technique & alignment and explore the importance of Flow and subtle energies.

Simi Roche

She will be our guest teacher for two weeks and will be sharing practices for devotion, yoga philosophy teachings to daily life and the how Dance and Yoga come from the same Source.

Ruana Vasquez

This goddess will be joining us online and will share her knowledge about the history of Brazilian Zouk and its influences to nowadays.

Dj Kakah

She is the queen of Musicality and will be joining us online, sharing her knowledge about counting, timings and music structure for teaching and musicality purposes.

FAQs

  • No, it is not guaranteed you will receive a certificate at the end. Everyone will undertake a practical teaching exam in the last week of the course and be examined by our Head Teacher.

  • Yes, all classes are mandatory to complete the 200 hours experience. To be eligible to our 200 hours participation certificate, you must complete the full schedule of classes.

    To be eligible to our Teachers certificate, you must complete the full schedule of classes + pass in our teaching exam.

  • No you don’t need to know both roles to join our program but you won’t be eligible to pass in the Teachers Certificate exam. You will still receive a certificate of participation if you complete your 200 hours doing one role.

    You can still join our program and elevate your dance skills but to become a teacher is a must to know both roles.

  • No, this a progressive course with the intention to go deeper and to find meaning into your practice and teachings.

    We offer retreats through the year for the ones that still loves our methodology but can’t commit for longer period of time.

  • You must complete all the hours and live sessions first to join the Bali experience.

    We will work on direct feedback, polishing teaching and alignment skills plus experiencing Layssa’s conceptual classes to bring more depth into your journey of flow and feeling.

    We will explore Bali together going to water temples, ceremonies, breathtaking restaurants, sound baths, cooking classes and much more.

    • Live sessions on Tuesdays 7pm to 10pm - Brisbane/AUS time

    • Sessions will be recorded in case you can’t make it.

  • 100hr+ hours of recorded lessons plus weekly live sessions to ask questions, review and practice skills.
